Five Brand Ambassadors

Brand Ambassador are personalities that personify what a certain brand is trying to portray with its products. This ambassador has to be a visual embodiment of the campaign he or she is representing: The person has to represent all the values and the main characteristics related to the brand.

Currently, companies and agencies have been choosing athletes, movie stars and all sorts of dashing personalities to fill this roll of imprinting credibility to the message intended. Nevertheless, there are those who believe that the ambassador should be a convinced, grass-root consumer that has acted as such because he or she has objectively decided that this product is worth it. Furthermore, pop-stars and famous personalities have proven to be very effective for the biggest companies purposes.

Five Brand Ambassadors are:

1. Rafael Nadal


Ranked world # 1 tennis player and new ambassador for the Bacardi Champions Drink Responsibly campaign which started four years ago with Michael Shumacher. The campaign is distributed through advertising, public relations, consumer experimental initiatives and social media platforms that will include for the first time a Facebook page and a channel at YouTube.

2. Natalie Portman


Academy award winning best actress, Natalie Portman is Miss Dior Chérie. The T.V. add for this campaign is directed by Sophia Coppola, also the printed adds show the beautiful actress dressed only by the fragrance.

3. Katy Perry


The famous singer was hired by adidas to become a part of the biggest campaign yet launched by the brand according to Starmminguer. Her vitality and talent are used in one of the eight spots recorded for the brand this year. The singer talked of the way that her originality and uniqueness related to the product.

4. Rafael Márquez


Famous mexican footballer works along with Gillette to promote healthcare for men. Being a masculine figure Márquez talked about the pragmatism of the product as well as of the importance of taking care of one’s skin.

5. Maria Sharapova


The tennis player has been with the brand for some time now. She often wears Tiffany’s jewelry at her games, and the Australian Open was not the exception. In fact the brand created a special line called Tiffany for Maria Sharapova which intends to recreate her elegance. She wears them in all of her slams.
