What will Pulse Season 2 be about?
(Spoiler alert!) If you’ve already watched the first season, you’ll know that Danny decided to withdraw the sexual harassment complaint she had filed against her ex-boyfriend. However, her position at the hospital remained unstable due to the influence of Xander’s powerful parents, who were determined to separate her from their son. Although the conflict between Danny and Xander seems resolved, Xander will now face the consequences of his mistakes, especially after losing a patient.
Meanwhile, Natalie Cruz faced a tough decision: fire Danny or resign from her position in the emergency department. After giving it thought, she chose to protect Danny by recommending her for the role of chief resident, but the department’s new director ultimately selected Sam Elijah for the position.
In the final moments of the series, Danny enters the ocean to swim, but shortly after, the hospital receives an emergency call about a boating accident that left multiple people injured… could she be among the victims?
Other storylines also remain unresolved: Dr. Tom Cole may face professional consequences due to his relationship with a patient, while Sophie Chan failed to confess her feelings to Daniela Pérez. Meanwhile, Sam celebrated his promotion, though he couldn’t stop thinking about Danny, hinting at a potential love triangle in the next season. All these narrative threads could develop further in the show’s second installment.
