United States, New York.– Executive Creative Director Walt Connelly joins the Ogilvy & Mather team. After five years in JWT and being responsible of several campaigns, including: Microsoft, The Diamond Trading Company, Kimberly-Clark HSBC, Ford and Bloomberg, Ogilvy welcomes him with wide open arms.
Educated at Virginia Commonwealth University and BFA, Advertising & Design, Conelly has also served as Executive Creative Director at McCann Worldgroup San Francisco from October 200o to March 2005. Connelly will be working alongside Steve Simpson, Chief Creative Officer for Ogilvy North America and Susan Westre, Global Creative Director. Simpson said that “Walt is an ideal fit for Ogilvy and for IBM. He has great intelligence, passion and wit.
