The second season of Wednesday did not disappoint fans. With its increasingly dark tone and ever-growing mystery in each episode, it likely kept you guessing and theorizing. During this first half of the series, it seems that all the answers lie within the Willow Hill Psychiatric Center, where Wednesday is searching for someone named Lois. But who is she and why is she key to uncovering the killer? Here’s what we know.
Who is Lois in Wednesday Season 2?
(Spoiler alert!) Wednesday Addams is never one to stay still, and now she is determined to solve the mystery behind the murders occurring in town. Her visions have shown her that her friend Enid is the next victim. To prevent the young werewolf’s grim and imminent fate, Wednesday begins an investigation to uncover the killer, and all clues seem to point to someone named Lois, located at the Willow Hill Psychiatric Center.

Now the problem is how she’ll get inside. For this, she turns to her Uncle Fester, who performs all kinds of outrageous antics to be admitted into the psychiatric facility—using his 18 passports, 33 driver’s licenses (all under different aliases), and a variety of props and tricks.
Once inside, he begins looking for Lois, but just as he’s about to find her, he’s discovered and captured. Wednesday has to come to his rescue and, when she finally manages to free him, they find Lois… and she’s not a person!
It turns out to be the acronym for a secret program called the Longterm Outcast Integration Study (LOIS). The program’s terrifying lab was located in the basement of Willow Hill, where Wednesday and Fester found several outcasts imprisoned. Their deaths had been faked. These individuals were being used for experiments aimed at stealing their powers and transferring them to a “normie” (a regular person).
What’s the importance of LOIS in Wednesday Season 2?
The program is a key element in Wednesday’s investigation. By discovering it, she’s able to identify the person responsible for the murders, as the killer and the person behind the program are one and the same.
Who is the killer in Wednesday Season 2?
No one saw this coming! Throughout the first few episodes, Wednesday’s clues point to several suspects—some more suspicious than others. But one by one, they are ruled out… until LOIS is exposed.
Inside the lab, Wednesday is confronted by the hooded killer, who finally removes the mask to reveal none other than Judi, the cheerful assistant of Dr. Fairburn, the lead psychiatrist at Willow Hill. Judi’s father is Augustus Stonehearst, the creator of LOIS. Now, she’s determined to carry on his legacy and experiment on new victims.
