Judi Spannegel is the assistant to Dr. Rachael Fairburn, the chief psychiatrist at Willow Hill Psychiatric Center, the institution where Tyler Galpin, the Hyde from Season 1, is being held. Judi appears to be an upbeat and cheerful character… but don’t be fooled by her charming appearance, as she hides a dark secret that takes the story in a shocking direction.
(Spoiler alert!) At first, Judi seems very enthusiastic, although she appears uncomfortable with Wednesday’s presence. But as the season progresses, she slowly begins to reveal her true identity… until it’s discovered that she is, in fact, the one responsible for the murders.
It turns out Judi’s father is a “normie” (a non-outcast) who managed to steal and acquire the powers of outcasts; now, she has the ability to control birds and commands them to carry out the killings.
How does Wednesday Season 2 end?
As expected, the final episode of the first part ends in suspense. After discovering the true killer, chaos erupts at Willow Hill Psychiatric Center. Marilyn Thornhill (or rather, Laurel Gates) manages to escape and releases the Hyde, who kills everyone in his path until he confronts Wednesday.
The two engage in a fierce battle… until she is thrown out of a window from the top of the building. Her bloodied body lies in the street. Will she survive? Will they manage to capture the Hyde again? We’ll find out in the next batch of episodes.
