When will The Gardener season 2 be released?

As the first season nears its end, Elmer finds himself in a real dilemma: he must choose between keeping his emotions or fighting to survive. A brain tumor has brought back (and intensified) his feelings—especially his love for Violeta. However, his mother, La China Jurado, insists he undergo treatment and surgery to remove the tumor, hoping to save his life.
Removing the tumor would mean Elmer loses his emotions again, so determined to live out his romance with Violeta, he defies his mother’s wishes. But she is willing to separate her son from the young woman at any cost and seeks to kill her to fulfill the orders of Sabela Costeira, who blames Violeta for her son’s death.
Unexpectedly, Elmer decides to kill Sabela, but Violeta discovers his entire plan. Meanwhile, La China Jurado hires a hitman to eliminate her son’s girlfriend, but the young woman manages to escape the assassin during the attack.
When Elmer learns of his mother’s intentions toward Violeta, he confronts her—but she knocks him unconscious. When he wakes up in the hospital, Elmer realizes he was operated on against his will and now feels no emotions, though he still remembers everything, including his relationship with Violeta.
Although he doesn’t forgive his mother, they continue to lead an apparently normal life at the nursery… until Violeta makes an unexpected appearance and asks Elmer a surprising favor: to help her “disappear” someone. But who does Violeta want gone? Will Elmer help her with this dark plan? The second season could pick up right there.

What is Netflix’s The Gardener about?
The Spanish series follows the story of Elmer, a man who works at a nursery run by his controlling mother. Since a car accident in his childhood, he has been unable to experience emotions, making him indifferent to his mother’s demands.
