Wegmans, the well-known grocery store chain, recently announced its plans to expand across the country. New store locations have already opened, and more are on the way. If you’re a Wegmans shopper, here’s where the new stores will be located—check to see if one will be opening near you.
Where Will the New Wegmans Stores Open?
According to the company, the new locations will mainly open in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Wegmans plans to open three stores this year. One already opened in Lake Grove, New York, on February 26. The other two will be located in:
- Rockville, Maryland – Opening June 25
- Norwalk, Connecticut – Opening July 26
In addition to these, Wegmans plans to open a new store in Charlotte, North Carolina, by the end of 2026, and has expressed intentions to expand to Holly Springs, North Carolina, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, though no estimated opening dates have been announced yet.

Wegmans is a family-owned company with more than a century of history. It was founded in 1916 by brothers Walter and John Wegman in Rochester, New York. How Can I Redeem Wegmans Digital Coupons?
Wegmans offers customers a convenient way to save through digital coupons, available exclusively to those with an online account linked to their Shoppers Club membership. These coupons can be easily activated via the website or mobile app and are automatically applied at checkout—no printing required.
To join the Shoppers Club, you can visit the customer service desk at any store, where a team member will help you create an account. You can also sign up from home by visiting the website, clicking “Create an Account,” and providing a username, password, and contact information, including a unique phone number.
Redeeming coupons is simple: just add them to your Shoppers Club account and, at checkout, either scan your app barcode or enter your phone number. If your purchase meets the coupon’s conditions, the discount will apply automatically.
For online orders, applicable coupons will appear at the bottom of your cart. Once activated and the required items are added, a green bar with the message “Digital Coupon Applied” will confirm that the discount was successfully applied.
