Does Principal Dort really die in Wednesday 2?
Yes. In episode 7 of season 2, it is revealed that Barry Dort was actually running a cult and had been controlling Bianca Barclay to steal Hester’s fortune, Wednesday’s grandmother. Dort committed many crimes and even kidnapped Bianca’s mother to force her to use her mermaid powers against the Addams family and anyone else in his way.

But everything is exposed during the Nevermore Academy Gala Ball. When confronted, Dort tries to escape and takes Bianca hostage, but Ajax uses his gorgon abilities and turns him to stone. Karma struck moments later for the sinister principal, who was literally crushed by a falling lamp.
Who will be the new principal of Nevermore in Wednesday season 3?
It seems the principal position at Nevermore is cursed! In two seasons, two principals have passed through the academy, and there will surely be another in season 3. But who will it be?

When does Wednesday season 3 premiere?
In July, Netflix shared news of the third season through a promotional image showing Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams. In front of her, Thing holds a crystal ball with the number 3 inside.
