The Jonas Brothers are back to celebrate 20 years of music! But before kicking off their world tour, they started their anniversary celebration with a delicious collaboration with Friendly’s Ice Cream to launch a new ice cream flavor that will help them connect with their fans. We’ll tell you what the flavor is and when it goes on sale so you can grab yours.

What is the new Friendly’s x Jonas Brothers ice cream like?

The Friendly’s x Jonas Brothers ice cream features three distinct flavors in a single 1.2-liter container. Kevin, Joe, and Nick each selected a flavor to create a unique blend that represents each brother’s personality:

  • Kevin’s Coffee Cookie Crumble: Kevin tapped into his love of coffee to create this flavor.
  • Joe’s Chocolate Marshmallow Swirl: Joe chose chocolate marshmallow as his signature flavor. The rich chocolate ice cream, accented with ribbons of marshmallow, delivers a bold and memorable twist.
  • Nick’s Vanilla: Nick opted for a refined vanilla for a balanced base, complementing the richer profiles of Kevin and Joe’s flavors.

The History of Friendly’s

Friendly’s is a well-known ice cream brand with a history that dates back to 1935. Today, under the ownership of the farmer-members of the Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) cooperative, the company continues its legacy by producing a wide range of packaged ice creams and frozen desserts, including individual sundaes, seasonal items, and ice cream cakes.

Every year, more than 90 million liters of ice cream are distributed to over 8,000 retail locations across the United States and some international markets. Friendly’s has become synonymous with joyful moments, offering delicious flavors and fun presentations that invite sharing and enjoyment in everyday life.

Who are the Jonas Brothers?

The Jonas Brothers are an American band formed by brothers Kevin (Paul Kevin Jonas II), Joe (Joseph Adam Jonas), and Nick (Nicholas Jerry Jonas), originally from Wyckoff, New Jersey. Their music career began in 2005 when they signed with Columbia Records, with whom they released their debut album It’s About Time. However, due to the album’s poor commercial performance, the band was dropped from the label.

Their real breakthrough came after signing with Hollywood Records, a label owned by The Walt Disney Company. With this new label, the brothers released their second album, Jonas Brothers, which debuted at number 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. Their first single, “Year 3000”—a cover of the original song by British band Busted—became their first chart hit, followed by the singles “Hold On,” “S.O.S.,” and “When You Look Me in the Eyes.”

In June 2008, they appeared in the successful Disney Channel movie Camp Rock. That same year, they released their third album, A Little Bit Longer, which debuted at the top of the charts in the U.S. and Canada. The lead single, “Burnin’ Up,” peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming their biggest hit at the time. It was followed by “Lovebug” and “Tonight.”

In 2009, the brothers starred in their own 3D movie, The 3D Concert Experience, accompanied by a soundtrack album. Their fourth studio album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, was released in June of that year with the singles “Paranoid,” “Fly With Me,” and “Keep It Real.”

In 2010, they expanded their TV presence with Jonas L.A., a Disney Channel series that also had its own soundtrack released that year. They also starred in Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, which had a soundtrack featuring the single “L.A. Baby (Where Dreams Are Made Of).”

On October 30, 2013, the Jonas Brothers announced their official breakup on Good Morning America and officially said goodbye on November 1 through a Facebook statement. After six years, in February 2019, they confirmed their return with the single “Sucker.” In December 2023, they announced their tour The Tour: Five Albums. One Night, celebrating their musical legacy with fans around the world.

When is the opening concert of the Jonas Brothers tour?

The kickoff night of the Jonas20: Living The Dream tour will be on August 10, 2025, at MetLife Stadium.
