History of TD Bank
Toronto-Dominion Bank was created on February 1, 1955, through the merger of The Bank of Toronto and The Dominion Bank, both of which had long-standing histories. Today, TD Bank is one of the ten largest banks in the United States, serving over 10 million retail, commercial, and small business customers through a network that stretches from Maine to Florida.
