Taco Bell, the popular Tex-Mex–style fast food chain, has announced the launch of new tacos and burritos featuring an ingredient that has caused a stir among fans: crispy chicken. The new items promise to feature the same recipe as the brand’s beloved Nuggets. If you’re eager to try them, here’s when they’ll be available.

What are Taco Bell’s new crispy chicken tacos and burritos like?

Following the success of the Crispy Chicken Nuggets, the chain decided to bring the flavor to their tacos and burritos. These new menu items are filled with the new Crispy Chicken Strip—made from white meat chicken, marinated in jalapeño buttermilk, and breaded with crunchy tortilla chips and breadcrumbs. They’re also topped with cheddar cheese, pico de gallo, and a choice of the new Spicy Ranchero Sauce or Avocado Ranch Sauce for a bold and delicious flavor combination.

The new items coming to Taco Bell’s menu include:

  • Crispy Chicken Taco ($2.79): A harmonious combination of one perfectly crisped Crispy Chicken Strip layered with purple cabbage, crisp lettuce, pico de gallo, and shredded cheddar cheese, with your choice of the all-new Spicy Ranchero Sauce or Avocado Ranch Sauce.
  • Crispy Chicken Burrito ($5.49): A full-sized burrito that won’t leave fans hungry, featuring two Crispy Chicken Strips surrounded by a bed of purple cabbage, crisp lettuce, pico de gallo, and cheddar cheese, with your choice of the all-new Spicy Ranchero Sauce or Avocado Ranch Sauce.
  • Crispy Chicken Strips (2 for $3.99): The fan-favorite formula from the Crispy Chicken Nuggets is back—and bigger than ever. Each Crispy Chicken Strip is crafted for extra crispy, crunchy goodness.
  • Spicy Ranchero Sauce: A creamy sauce made with Anaheim and jalapeño chiles, tomatoes, garlic, and onion, delivering just the right kick—perfect for dipping or drizzling.
  • Avocado Ranch Sauce: A creamy, zesty ranch with a subtle avocado twist.

When will Taco Bell’s new crispy chicken tacos and burritos be available?

The new items will be available starting June 17, 2025, but only for a limited time. The company also revealed that it’s already working on additional crispy chicken dishes, though those won’t hit the menu until 2026.
