What does QDOBA mean?
The name QDOBA doesn’t have a literal translation or an officially confirmed meaning from the company. During an advertising campaign, the brand had fun with the mystery surrounding its name, suggesting it could be an acronym, with playful phrases like “Queso Delicious On Basically Anything.”
However, beyond these creative interpretations, QDOBA has clarified that the term is completely made up (yes, sorry to break it to you). The name was created with one purpose: to convey flavor. It’s a unique name meant to reflect the brand’s identity and its commitment to bold, flavorful food with personality.
