Lowe’s, the well-known home improvement store, has announced its expansion plans in the country. This year, it will open more stores in several states. If you’re a customer, we’ll tell you where the new locations will be, so you can see if one will be opening closer to you.
How many new stores will Lowe’s open?
According to the company, it plans to open between five and ten new stores throughout 2025. Starting in 2026, the brand aims to open between 10 and 15 stores per year.

Where will the new Lowe’s stores open?
So far, the company has not released the full list of locations for 2025; however, it has been confirmed that some of the new stores will be located in:
- Georgetown, Texas
- Maricopa, Arizona
Earlier this year, the company also opened other stores as part of its expansion plan. These include two new locations in Texas, as well as one in North Carolina that reopened after closing due to Hurricane Helene. These are:
- Magnolia, Texas
- Fort Worth, Texas
- Asheville, North Carolina
What is MyLowe’s Rewards?
This is the company’s loyalty program, which allows members to earn points for in-store purchases and receive exclusive rewards. MyLowe’s Rewards credit card holders receive 5% off all eligible purchases made with their card.
You can earn points on eligible in-store purchases by scanning your card, using the Wallet Scan to Pay feature, or providing the phone number associated with your account. You can also earn points online and in the app by signing in. Additionally, you may have more opportunities to earn points by completing other activities. Keep in mind that all accumulated points will expire 12 months after your last point-earning activity.
The rewards program features multiple membership tiers, which are assigned based on the user’s accumulated spending on eligible purchases during the designated period. Membership status will be determined by the total amount spent in the previous year. To qualify for Silver Key status, credit card holders may be required to add their card to the Lowe’s digital wallet.
