The story of the company as we know it today began with a blind date between Mike Ilitch and Marian Bayoff, organized by Mike’s father in 1954. A few months later, the couple got married.
With great vision, Mike and Marian Ilitch invested all their savings into their first pizzeria, located in Garden City, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. Marian carefully tracked the first sales of Little Caesars in a spiral notebook.
