How to get free donuts at Krispy Kreme
All you need to do is be a high school or college senior and show up at any Krispy Kreme location wearing your cap and gown. By doing so, you’ll receive a gift with no purchase necessary, which includes:
- A pack of three Original Glazed donuts
- A “Dough-ploma”
- T-shirts and jackets

The promotion is valid all day on Wednesday, May 28, while supplies last.
Krispy Kreme offers
To honor the graduating class, thousands of lucky students across the U.S. will receive a year of free Original Glazed donuts (one dozen per month from June 2025 through May 2026). At each participating store, several winners will be randomly selected throughout the day.
As part of the celebration, on May 28, Krispy Kreme will also offer dozens of Original Glazed donuts at a special price of $12 for all customers, both in-store and for online orders. The promotion is limited to four dozen per person.
In addition, K-12 students can enjoy one free donut for every A on their report card (up to six donuts per student), redeemable once during the summer at participating locations. Students must present their current term report card and be present at the time of redemption. The offer includes the Original Glazed donut and most regular menu varieties, excluding limited-time or special editions.
The Strawberry Original Glazed Doughnut returns to Krispy Kreme!
The chain has also announced the return of its popular Strawberry Original Glazed Doughnut, one of the most requested flavors by fans. This donut will be available only from May 30 to June 1, and you can order it in-store, for pickup, or delivery via the app and website.

Krispy Kreme’s history began in the 1930s. According to legend, Vernon Rudolph, the founder of this famous doughnut brand, won the secret recipe for making yeast doughnuts in a poker game against a French chef in New Orleans.
He then rented a space in Old Salem, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he started selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts wholesale to supermarkets.
