Adela Amalia Noriega Méndez was born on October 24, 1969, in Mexico City. She is one of the most renowned actresses in the history of Mexican telenovelas. From a young age, she faced difficult situations, including the loss of her father, which left her mother in charge of raising Adela and her two siblings. At age 12, while accompanying her mother at a shopping mall, she was discovered by a talent scout, marking the start of her artistic career as a model for photo-novels and TV commercials.

At 15, Adela began acting and quickly stood out for her charisma and on-screen presence. Her popularity soared through appearances in music videos for artists like Lucía Méndez and Luis Miguel.
