According to reports, the content creator was the victim of a shooting that took place last Friday, August 15, in Glendale, Arizona. Local authorities stated that on Friday night, the suspect was driving a pickup truck and, while stopped at a red light, began arguing with another driver.
In the middle of the confrontation, the attacker pulled out a gun and fired into the air. One of the bullets struck the car in which the influencer was traveling with her family. The projectile went through the passenger-side window, where Hermosillo was sitting, and hit her in the head.

Both she and her partner were taken to a hospital, where the young woman passed away due to the severity of her injuries. The influencer’s son, as well as her mother, were in the back seat of the vehicle but were unharmed.
Suspect in the killing of influencer Yarely Hermosillo arrested
Police confirmed they arrested the suspect in the attack. He was identified as 33-year-old Jesús Preciado Dousten, who now faces several charges, including aggravated assault, weapons misconduct, endangerment, and second-degree murder, the latter linked to Yarely’s death.
Dousten was located thanks to surveillance camera footage that helped identify the vehicle involved in the attack. The aggressor was hiding in an apartment in Glendale, where, after a search, two firearms were found.
