Outcasts and normies! The second part of Wednesday season 2 has finally arrived on Netflix, and now it’s been revealed what happens with Wednesday Addams and the Hyde, along with other mysteries surrounding this new installment. Did Wednesday manage to defeat Tyler? Does Enid die as the vision foretold? What secrets was the Addams family hiding? Here we explain everything that happens in the final episodes.
What happens in Wednesday season 2 part 2?
(Spoiler alert!) The story picks up where the last episode of part 1 left off. Wednesday wakes up in the hospital after being in a coma for several days. As she opens her eyes, the first thing she sees is Principal Larissa Weems dressed as a nurse. But wait—wasn’t she dead?

Indeed, Larissa was killed in the first season of the series, but it turns out she was chosen as Wednesday’s spirit guide. After Goody Addams, Wednesday’s previous spiritual guide, sacrificed herself for her, no ancestor wanted the job—but Larissa volunteered (they’re distant relatives by marriage—who would’ve guessed!).
Wednesday isn’t thrilled and decides to ignore Weems’ warnings, as she is now obsessed with controlling the Hyde—becoming its master to stop it from killing. Meanwhile, the mysterious woman saved from the Willow Hill Psychiatric Center encounters Morticia, who is stunned to see her.
The woman, presumed dead for years, is none other than Francoise Sylvanne, Tyler Galpin’s mother, who was kidnapped by Augustus Stonehearst, the scientist who created the Long-Term Outcast Integration Study (LOIS) to steal powers from the outcasts of Jericho and transfer them to the normies (regular people).
Francoise and Morticia make a pact to save their sons and head to the place where Wednesday is about to face Tyler to control him. There, it’s revealed that Francoise is also a Hyde, and she escapes with her son.
The police are now hunting not just the two of them, but also Slurp, Pugsley’s zombie pet. The monster, now on the run, keeps eating brains and has fully regained his human form, revealing his true identity: Isaac Night, Francoise’s brother and Tyler’s uncle, who co-developed the LOIS machines with Augustus Stonehearst.
To find them, Wednesday seeks help from her grandmother, Hester Frump, to prevent her vision of her werewolf friend Enid Sinclair’s death. Hester advises Wednesday to find the grave of Rosaline Rotwood (Lady Gaga), a Nevermore teacher from the 1960s. Rosaline was a powerful Raven with dark psychic abilities who, even in death, can temporarily restore Wednesday’s psychic powers. Desperate to help Enid, Wednesday contacts Rotwood at her grave—but Rotwood warns her there will be a price.

Enid finds Wednesday and interrupts her during the ritual—everything goes wrong. Now, the two of them have swapped bodies! From there, chaos unfolds. But after opening their hearts and truly understanding one another, they manage to return to normal a few hours later.
Afterward, Larissa informs Wednesday that her vision of Enid’s death has changed. Enid will no longer die… but the new victim will be a family member. Isaac kidnaps Pugsley, and it seems the premonition is about to come true. Wednesday confronts her mother and forces her to reveal her darkest secret: she and Gomez were involved in Isaac’s death, and now he seeks revenge through her son.
They manage to rescue Pugsley, and in the final battle, both Francoise and Isaac die. Tyler voluntarily leaves to join other Hydes and become part of a pack.
How does the final episode of Wednesday season 2 part 2 end?
Will Wednesday ever stop risking her life? Apparently not. In the final episode, the young Addams nearly dies once again. During her fight with Isaac in the cemetery, he throws her into a grave and buries her. Agnes, invisible, witnesses it all and runs to find Enid for help. They both rush to the cemetery and try to dig her out, but time is running out.
Enid decides to transform into a wolf to free her faster. She succeeds, but at a cost: now she must live forever as a beast. As an alpha she-wolf, young alphas who transform during a full moon rarely return to human form.
Enid flees, and at the end of the school year at Nevermore, Wednesday joins her Uncle Fester on a new adventure to find her friend. Will they find her? Will Enid ever return to her human form? That’s something we’ll see in the third season.
When does Wednesday season 3 premiere on Netflix?
So far, Netflix hasn’t announced when season 3 will arrive on the streaming platform, but it’s expected to be released sometime in late 2026 or possibly 2027.
