This Wednesday, the streaming platform shared on its social media the official trailer for Stranger Things 5, which had been announced the day before. After hours of anticipation, fans of the series finally got to see the preview of the final season, which promises a more intense dose of mystery.
The trailer gave us some hints about what we can expect in the final episodes, where the protagonists must face a threat more dangerous than ever before. Hawkins is not safe! Especially with Vecna on the loose, plotting dark plans.

How does Stranger Things 5 end?
At the moment, it’s still uncertain how the series will end. That said, someone has to die—but the question is, who? So far, it’s only been revealed that this final season is set in the fall of 1987, with Hawkins deeply affected after the opening of the Rifts.
According to Netflix’s synopsis, Eleven and her group of friends reunite to locate and eliminate Vecna, who has vanished without a trace. Vecna’s intentions remain a mystery, but that’s not the only problem: the government has imposed a military quarantine in the town and is intensifying efforts to capture Eleven, forcing her back into hiding.
As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, an unsettling sense of danger begins to take hold. The final battle is near, and with it, a darker and deadlier threat. To stop it, they’ll have to join forces—perhaps for the last time.
When does Stranger Things 5 premiere?
The new season will arrive on the streaming platform in three parts: the first on November 26, 2025, the second on December 25, and the third on December 31.
