There are only a few hours left before Wednesday Season 2 premieres on Netflix! And if you’re a fan of the series, you’ve probably already watched the latest official trailer… which left more questions than answers. One of the most shocking moments was the possible death of Enid, Wednesday’s inseparable (and overly cheerful) friend. But does she really die? Here’s everything we know about this beloved character’s fate.
Does Enid die in Wednesday Season 2?
Fan theories about this have spread fast, with everyone searching for answers. A tombstone with Enid Sinclair’s name and scenes of her blaming Wednesday have worried fans, as the trailer strongly suggests that the blonde werewolf dies — and that the Addams’ eldest daughter may be to blame.

The trailer shows Wednesday crying as she confesses to her mother that she saw Enid die. Later, her possible death is mentioned again — but some clues point in a different direction, as Enid appears in several key scenes from the new episodes premiering in September.
However, the show’s creators, Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, have said they want to explore the limits of friendship, hinting at serious conflicts between the protagonist and her friend. Will Enid survive? Everything suggests her story isn’t over yet — but we’ll find out as Season 2 unfolds, promising to push our emotions to the edge.

What Is Wednesday Season 2 About?
In her second year at Nevermore, Wednesday faces her worst nightmare: her entire family invading her school life. What starts as a regular school year quickly spirals into chaos when her brother Pugsley joins the academy, struggling to control his electrokinesis and to live outside his sister’s shadow. To make matters worse, Morticia and Gomez begin showing up on campus more often than Wednesday would like. Tensions between mother and daughter escalate to the point of a physical confrontation — in a fencing duel, no less. And if that weren’t enough, Hester Frump, the grandmother who can actually make her smile, arrives.
Beyond the family drama, the Addams’ eldest daughter must deal with new mysteries at the academy — and one more problem: over the summer, she trained her psychic abilities using Goody Addams’ Spellbook. But something goes wrong… her visions start failing, and she begins to cry black tears. Can she still trust what she sees?
Will There Be a Wednesday Season 3 on Netflix?
