What products have been recalled recently?
Below is a list of Costco products that have been recalled:
- Topo Chico Mineral Water (18-pack, select lots in Texas and Louisiana): May be contaminated with pseudomonas, which can affect immunocompromised individuals.
- Fresh and Ready Foods Sandwiches and Salads: Possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, a dangerous bacteria for vulnerable individuals.

- Michelin Agilis CrossClimate Tires (185/60R15C): Do not meet tread strength standards; rubber chunks may detach, posing a road hazard.
- Anker Power Bank (10K, 22.5W) — Model A1257: May have issues with lithium-ion battery cells, although the risk is low. Discontinuation of use is recommended.
- Anker Powercore 10000 — Model A1263: Risk of overheating and potential fire hazard. Anker advises users to stop using it immediately.
- BowFlex Adjustable Dumbbells: Reports of weight plates detaching during use, posing an impact risk.
- Bridgestone Blizzak 6 Tires (235/40R19): Lack the required DOT certification seal, which may lead to improper use.
- Danby 8k U-Shaped Window Air Conditioner: May not drain water efficiently, promoting mold growth. Sold under multiple brands, consumers are advised to stop using it.
- Igloo Flip & Tow Cooler (90-quart): The handle may cause serious finger injuries during use.
- Midea U-Shape Window Air Conditioners (Item #’s 1572673, 1657921, 1677429, 1768985, 2677450, 2677429): Mold from accumulated water may lead to respiratory problems.
- Ninja Foodi Pressure Cooker + Air Fryer: Risk of severe burns due to the lid opening under pressure. Users are advised not to use the pressure cooking function until a replacement lid is obtained.

Several of these items were sold in physical Costco stores across multiple states, while others were available through Costco Next.

Costco Return Policy
You can return products to Costco, but certain rules apply:
- For Electronics and Major Appliances, the company only accepts returns within 90 calendar days from the date of purchase.
- Products bought in-store must be returned at the “Returns” counter at any Costco location.
- Items purchased online can be returned at any warehouse or requested for return through the website. In all cases, products must be returned in their original packaging and with all included accessories.
- If you attempt to return a different product than the one purchased, the return will not be processed.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

Currently, the company operates 897 stores worldwide, 617 of which are in the United States and Puerto Rico. With the opening of six new locations in the United States, the total number of stores will reach 903.
