How to Get Free Guacamole at Chipotle
Ahead of National Avocado Day, the brand is launching a new challenge for fans: the “AvoLotto Sweepstakes,” where you’ll need to scan real avocados for a chance to win free guac for a year. To make it happen, Chipotle has teamed up with Snapchat to create a new, exclusive AR Lens called the “AvoLotto Lens,” which detects actual avocados.

You’ll need to scan avocados from July 28 at 6:00 a.m. PT through July 30 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Here’s how the lens works:
- Visit www.snapchat.com/@chipotlesnaps to find the “AvoLotto Lens.”
- Use your phone’s camera to scan a real avocado.
- A message will pop up on your screen letting you know if you’ve won free guac for a year.
The sweepstakes will award up to 1,000 users per day, so your chances are pretty good! To claim the prize, winners must enter the code received on Snapchat into their Chipotle Rewards account within five days of receiving it.

In addition to the “AvoLotto Sweepstakes,” Chipotle will also offer Chipotle Rewards members a free guac side or topping on National Avocado Day. To redeem the offer, simply use the code AVO2025 when purchasing a regular-priced entrée.
But that’s not all! Now through August 31, anyone who signs up for “Summer of Extras” can earn bonus points, unlock exclusive badges, and more by completing monthly challenges.
