What happened between Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot?
It all happened at the Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium in Boston. Everything was singing and fun… until Chris Martin, lead singer of the iconic band, decided to activate the Kiss Cam. His intention was to energize the crowd, but it had the opposite effect for two people.
Present was Andy Byron, (now former CEO of Astronomer), who was accompanied by a woman with whom he was showing affection. The Kiss Cam focused on the happy couple, but realizing this, the businessman quickly let go of his companion and hid. The woman did the same and eventually left the stands.
The woman in question is not Byron’s wife, so it is presumed she is his lover. Her name is Kristin Cabot and she is Human Resources Director at Astronomer, although after the scandal, she has taken a leave from her position.
Realizing he had exposed an apparent infidelity, Chris Martin couldn’t help but smile and said: “Either they’re having an affair… or they’re very shy.” In case you haven’t seen it, here is the video.
