Which stadiums in Mexico will host World Cup 2026 matches?

Mexico will be one of the three host nations of the 2026 World Cup, alongside the United States and Canada. Within Mexico, three stadiums have been selected to host matches:

  • Estadio Azteca (Estadio Banorte) – Mexico City
  • Estadio BBVA – Monterrey
  • Estadio Akron – Guadalajara

However, it is the Estadio Azteca that will have the honor of hosting the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2026, marking its third World Cup opening after 1970 and 1986 — a historic and unprecedented milestone.

According to the confirmed FIFA schedule, the five matches at Estadio Azteca (Banorte) will take place on the following dates:

How much do World Cup 2026 tickets cost at Estadio Azteca?

Currently, the only way to access World Cup 2026 tickets in Mexico is through hospitality packages. The Venue Series package includes tickets to all five matches at the stadium in a single purchase. The experience features premium services such as gourmet food, beverages, exclusive access, and personalized attention.

FIFA has confirmed that registration for non-hospitality tickets will begin in September 2025, with more details to follow regarding the individual ticket sale process.

Mexico will host matches in:

  • Estadio Akron (Guadalajara) – 4 matches
