Will banks be open on Memorial Day 2025?
Banking institutions such as Bank of America, CitiBank, Wells Fargo, and JPMorgan Chase have confirmed that their branches will be closed on Memorial Day. Although they haven’t made official announcements, it is highly likely that other banks, such as PNC, Truist, and Capital One, will also suspend services that day. However, customers will still be able to perform basic transactions through online banking and ATMs, which will operate normally.

Will there be postal service on Memorial Day 2025?
Like government entities, schools and libraries, the United States Postal Service (UPS) will not operate on Memorial Day, meaning there will be no mail delivery. Users who need urgent delivery service can use UPS Express Critical, which is available 365 days a year.
Other delivery services, such as FedEx, will also be unavailable on Memorial Day. The services that will be unavailable are FedEx Express, FedEx Freight, FedEx Ground, FedEx Home Delivery, FedEx Ground Economy, and FedEx Trade Networks. However, FedEx Custom Critical remains available 24/7.
